A Great Investment

Too often, we complain about our problems to almost anyone who will listen but then we praise God only in private. Shouldn't it be the other way around??? Shouldn't we rather complain privately and praise God publicly? Shouldn't we complain less (better yet, not at all) and praise God more? Obviously, the latter is a much better investment emotionally, physically, and spiritually. The more you give praise to God, the less you'll have time to complain. It's about knowing where to best allocate your limited resources, i.e. time, energy, and emotion. Remember, God expects us to be good stewards of the resources He has entrusted in our care...and that includes TIME.

"Redeeming the time, because the days are evil." Ephesians 5:16

"And my tongue shall speak of thy righteousness and of thy praise all the day long." Psalm 35:28

When was the last time you praised God openly and profusely? Praising God has always proven to be a great investment for eternity. God's Word guarantees it!

"Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: for where your treasure is, there will your heart be also." Matthew 6:19-21
