Moving Again

I can see God directing my steps once again! It looks like we will be moving again; but this time, it's pretty much down the street!

About 2 weeks ago, I suddenly felt that I was being moved out of my comfort zone, yet again. I ended up being emotional about the matter, but through the the aid of friends and God's Word, God reminded me to simply trust in Him. Proverbs 3:5, 6 says:

"Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths."

It also wasn't very long ago, when I started noticing that I've put a lot of things on hold, simply because I was unclear how to proceed. After sensing God's direction last night, and after reading His Word this morning, He clearly spoke me to me in Proverbs 27:23-27. Specifically, verse 23 states:

"Be thou diligent to know the state of thy flocks, [and] look well to thy herds."

For one thing, I know I have been putting off doing my 2007 taxes. God has reminded me to make that a priority this week, especially since it was due April 15th, and I had to file an extension! Doing this will help me obtain even a better picture of "the state of my flocks", and I know that God will give me the wisdom on how to proceed with the stewardship of what He has blessed me with.

After the realization of such, God brought yet another message to my attention. Hebrews 2:1 states: "Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let [them] slip."

I know I must act on this, immediately! In addition, I know that God wanted me to speak to me this morning concerning this matter. He used the office pager to wake me up! Instead of complaining, I decided to pick up my Bible and start listening to what God had to say. I'm so glad I did that!
